How to select a small cement pump
Selecting the right concrete pump is critical for ensuring high work efficiency and reliability. There are a few things you need to consider when selecting a small concrete pump machine:
- Maximum aggregate size
- Pumping distance
- Capacity
- Electric motor or diesel engine?
- Your engineering project situation

Precautions for operation of concrete pumps
- Inspect the lubricating grease scale that decreases in the box every day. The number of reductions per day is fixed. If decreased less, it means some lubricating points may be blocked. Then you need to check and solve the problem.
- The water in the tank needs to be replaced with clean water every morning before working. The water level should just cover the piston rod position. If the water level is too high, it will spill out and burn the proximity switch.
- Some lubricating points of concrete cylinder swing arm should manually add oil by grease gun.
- There is a large-diameter screw nut at the back of concrete hopper, which should be tightened. Otherwise, the glasses plates and cutting loop will be easily loose and break when the pump is working.
- The parts with screws need to be checked and tightened frequently.
- When disassembling the pipeline, you’d better clean the clamp and rubber gasket with water. After drying out, put the clamp with screw into waste engine oil in order to prolong the service life of the clamp and rubber gasket.
