Types of concrete mixing station

Parts of concrete batching plant
The ready mix concrete plant mainly includes five parts, material storage system, material weighing system, material conveying system, mixing system and control system. The quality and working condition of parts determine the performance of whole equipment.
Concrete mixer
According to the mixing method, the mixer includes compulsory mixer and free-fall mixer. The former type has wide application at home and abroad. It can stir kinds of concrete, such as floating, semi-stiffness, stiffness. Free-fall mixer is mainly used for floating concrete.
For the structure, compulsory mixer mainly has spindle planetary mixer, single horizontal shaft mixer and twin-shaft horizontal mixer. The performance of twin-shaft horizontal is the best.

Weighing system
It is an important part than influences concrete quality and concrete production cost. It has three parts, aggregate weighing, powder weighing and liquid weighing.
Batching machine is used for batching and weighing aggregate. It comes in two options – concentrated weighing and separate weighing system.

Conveying system
Aggregate conveying part
The mixing plant is provided with two ways of hopper conveying and belt conveying. The hopper conveying has small floor area and simple structure. The belt conveying has long conveying distance is, high efficiency, low failure rate. The belt conveying is mainly applicable to the mixing station with the aggregate temporary storage bin, so as to improve the productivity of the mixing station.
Powder conveying part
Available powder of concrete are cement, fly ash and mineral powder. Powder conveying usually adopts screw conveyor. Screw conveying has advantages as simple structure, low cost and reliable use.
Liquid conveying part
The liquid mainly refers to water and liquid admixture. They are conveyed by water pump.

Storage system
The available storage methods of materials are the same. Aggregates are stacked in the open air(there are also closed silos for large-scale commercial concrete mixing stations in the city); the powder is stored in a fully enclosed steel structure silo; admixtures are stored in steel structure vessels.
There are two types of cement silos for you to choose from, bolted and welded type. The welded cement silo is suitable for small concrete plants, whereas the bolted one is ideal for medium to large batch plants.

Control system
Control system is key part of the whole equipment. It has different functions and configurations based on different needs and concrete mix plant size. Small concrete mix plant has simpler control system, large concrete mix plant has more complex control system.
